What’s the attraction of White Water?
There are various grades of white water. These provide a range of exciting environments to explore. Each river has its own character and this varies as its water levels and geography change. This makes white water kayaking a fun, exciting, challenging and sometimes humbling experience. For many the biggest attraction to white water canoeing is the unique prospective of experiencing nature from a kayak and the feeling of being immersed in natures power and beauty.
It’s an easily accessible area of canoe sport with many rivers to suit all levels of ability. Best conditions in the UK are winter but we have dam releases and artificial course running throughout the summer months.

What’s the White Water scene like?
River runners are part of the same community as freestyle paddlers, and similarly rely on forming social groups to paddle with and push each other to new levels. It’s an open and friendly environment as everybody has a common goal to hit the best lines and make the best run.
